Are Strip hotels lifestyle-friendly for after-parties?

We met a couple at a club last time we were in Vegas and wanted to invite them back to our Strip hotel room. But we were nervous about hotel security, guest policies, and noise. Which Strip hotels are most lifestyle-friendly? Any tips for bringing guests back?

Most major Strip hotels don't care what consenting adults do in their rooms. That said, some practical tips:

  • Guest access: Most Strip hotels don't check IDs for people walking to the elevators. The Cosmopolitan, Venetian, and Wynn are all easy for guests to walk in.
  • Noise: Get a room away from the elevator bank. Corner suites are ideal. Keep it reasonable and you'll be fine.
  • Key cards: Request extra key cards at check-in. Saves the awkward lobby call-up.
  • Avoid: Smaller boutique hotels on the Strip where staff is more attentive to guest traffic.
  • Best options: The bigger the hotel, the more anonymous you are. Caesars properties (Paris, Planet Hollywood, Harrah's) are massive and nobody notices anything. MGM properties (Aria, Bellagio, Park MGM) are also fine.

We've been doing this for years and never had an issue. The key is not making a scene in the hallways.

The off-Strip hotels near the clubs are actually better for after-parties. The Artisan Hotel near Green Door is basically known for being lifestyle-adjacent. Less expensive, more private, and you're minutes from the club instead of dealing with a Strip Uber ride at 2am.
